Freeport mother mixes family life with behind-the-scenes work for media moguls

Ashley Benedict and her husband, Chad, live on a small road in Freeport where they raise their two boys, 7-year-old Rylan and 4-year-old Caden. Benedict is a stay-at-home-mom, and, like many women, runs a small business out of her home. She loves the hours, which she can usually work around her boys’ schedule, and lately she doesn’t travel much at all. So Benedict lives just like other stay-at-home moms who add to the household’s income by a doing a little work from home ? with one big difference. She works for Oprah.
