| Imagine wearing your pajamas to work, doing a load of laundry during a break, rummaging through your fridge for lunch and then sitting down for dinner just minutes after you’re off. It’s not so hard to picture for some Convergys Corp. call center employees who have the opportunity to work from home. Commute times were a big issue for employee Janice Gualtier, who works from home instead of at the company’s Logan site. “Instead of driving 35 minutes, I can walk into the kitchen at 5:45 and start dinner,” said Gualtier, who lives in Newton, about 16 miles outside of Logan. “I can get my personal needs taken care of because I’m not wasting time on the road.” |
