The Oswego Illinois Police Department is investigating an Internet-based scam involving work-at-home scenarios. The scam starts with the victim receiving e-mails that outline a work-at-home program. The e-mails lead to the victim eventually receiving a check in the mail with instructions to cash the check. The suspects advise the victim to keep a small percentage of the amount for themselves and send the remaining amount to the suspect via Western Union. After that money is sent, the victim finds out the check is fraudulent. Police advise residents not to accept checks from unknown sources and to question any opportunities to earn from sources that sound “too good to be true.”

They’re called live/work apartments, and have sprouted in urban centres across the UK. They are targeted at the pioneers of home-based working, and usually feature cutting-edge architectural design. But now hundreds of purchasers who use them entirely as a residential space, face eviction following a clampdown by council planning departments. Under Section 172 of the Hackney’s Town and Country Planning Act 1990, councils can require breaches of planning rules like is happening with these “business use” apartments to be “remedied”. But, because it is such a new phenomenon, the rules surrounding live/work are especially vague. The council says that anyone living in a live/work unit must pay business rates on their property, as well as council tax. The flats could also be liable for capital gains tax when the business part of their flats are sold.

Recommend a hosting company.
Recommend software.
I will supply you with a list of parameters the software must support and you will determine if the software will meet my objectives. I don?t need a written report, several phone conversations should cover it. Or I can meet with you at your office.

Phase Two
- Supervise and assist in the installation of the software. All software companies provide free installation.
- Make any minor software modifications such as connecting software to billing processor.
- Create banner ads.
- Train website administrator for the day to day task of running the website.
- Any other tasks that we both agree are needed for a successful launch of the site.

Long Term Goal
Ideally the person chosen should be able to serve as a long term technical advisor who will be paid a basic monthly fee and/or hourly fee to answer technical questions or solve technical issues. You will NOT be involved in the actual operation of the site, but rather you will be the technical brains, when technical issues arise.
