Does Telecommuting Increase Productivity?

Research tends to indicate that employees allowed to telecommute one day per week were 9% more satisfied with their employers that those made to come to the office everyday. This also directly reflected in the employees perceptions and reactions to their boss as telecommuters found their boss did a better job of people management and that senior managers valued them more.
