Perks For The New Year
Think you are an indispensable employee? Upset that your continued appeals for a raise seem to go unheard? Is changing employers your only option? Well, maybe not.
Instead of a pay raise, consider asking for perks at your next annual review, or at the negotiation table before you take a new job. Perks, while not of the monetary format, may mean more to you than a slight increase in your paycheck. And, perks are not nearly as “taxable” as an equivalent pay raise.
