Article Writers Needed

Your ability to read and follow instructions will impact whether or not you are considered for the position. Thank you for your attention.

We are looking for someone to work from home on an as-needed basis to handle overflow work, beginning ASAP! We write SEO content for websites and need help when we get bombarded with projects.

You will be writing original articles of 300-350 words in length on a variety of topics, including anything and everything. We assign the topic, teach you how to write for SEO (search engine optimization - it helps websites rank higher with Google, Yahoo, etc.) and tell you what keywords to use and how often to use them. You do the research (should be super-fast) and email the copy back to us.

Must be good quality, and FAST - most turnarounds are 3 working days. DEADLINES ARE ABSOLUTE.

We are serious about the quality - this is not the type of SEO where you cram the keyword in as many times as possible. We are seeking quality writers.

We pay $10 per article via PayPal. We are a verified vendor with PayPal. Look around - most sites are only paying $3 to $8 per article. We pay more because we demand a higher quality.

Our best copywriters can complete 6 pages per hour (which equates to $60 an hour) and on the low end, some of our writers can only complete at least 2 pages per hour. (We not concerned with how fast you write as long as you meet the deadlines - this information is provided to simply give you an idea of how much money you would be able to earn while doing this work.)

Interested parties should send us your name with a SAMPLE of your original work (published or unpublished), 300-350 words in length to the reply-to email listed here. You pick the topic.

PLEASE NOTE: We are looking for a research-based sample — DO NOT send editorial pieces, “what I think about…” blog posts, or record reviews — these will NOT be considered.

ALSO NOTE: If you don’t send a writing sample, you won’t get a response and you won’t be considered. Resumes will NOT be considered - NO EXCEPTIONS! (We care how well you can write, we don’t care who you’ve worked for in the past.)

If your sample meets our high standards, you will be asked to complete 1-2 spec pages. IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO WRITE A SPEC PIECE, PLEASE DON’T WASTE OUR TIME OR YOURS BY APPLYING.

Freelance positions will ultimately be awarded based on the quality of your spec piece.

We have work you can begin ASAP, and we pay by PayPal every two weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: Everyone who follows these instructions will be considered, but we’re only looking to hire TWO OUTSTANDING writers.

Good luck!

* Location: Telecommute
* Compensation: $10 per page of 300-350 words
* Telecommuting is ok.
* This is a part-time job.

Hawkesbury NSW Home Based Business Network Provides Help And Encouragement

The Home-Based Bookstore: Start Your Own Business Selling Used Books on Amazon, eBay or Your Own Web Site

Running a business from home is certainly a juggling act. Since most work at home ventures are of a small nature, outside support, some call it “networking”, is vital for growth and success. One such network is found in a Hawkesbury NSW group that provides help and encouragement to its members. At the fortnightly meetings, the membership discusses topics such as debt collection, bank fees, office equipment, insurance and employment. Network co-ordinator and owner of Hawkesbury Sightseeing Tours Janice Hart said people can feel cut off when employed at home. “Being home based you work a lot in isolation,” she said.

The opportunity to bounce ideas, network, build trust and a referral base among other businesses is a strong incentive to join the group. Wayne Wagstaff, who runs Speedboar Machining, said one of the best aspects of the network was the ability to draw on the expertise of other home-based businesses.

Successful Affiliate Marketing

The Super Affiliate Handbook: How I Made $436,797 in One Year Selling Other People\'s Stuff Online

Yes, we’ve all read the sales hype that this person or that make $???,??? through Internet website affiliate marketing. Is is true? For some, maybe, for others, absolutely not.

A few things are certain; first, if you don’t try, you will never succeed, and second, without a plan you are doomed from the start.

Before we go any further, let’s all agree that affiliate marketing is a low-cost way for merchants to build awareness and showcase their products and services. The merchandising model is simple in its execution. It exists as a commission-based referral system. A partner or affiliate markets a merchant’s products for a “piece of the action.”

Experts generally agree that less than 5% of the thousands of website owners achieve a four or five figure monthly income with affiliate marketing commission. When an individual reaches this elite level they are often referred to as a “super” affiliate.

Those new to affiliate marketing should choose an affiliate marketing network that provides personal customer service and support by phone or email, not just automated responses.

Often those new to the affiliate industry employ a “shotgun” technique in presenting ads on their websites. Too many ads confuse the readership and send a message that the site lacks direction.

Webmasters need to find a unique niche and build on that single concept. Never try to offer everything under the sun. Do not scatter your efforts, focus on your niche, promote it, and sell it well.

Maybe the hardest thing to do for a start-up marketer is to be persistent. Many times those dabbling in affiliate marketing give up way too soon without permitting their site to mature.

Statistics need to be monitored. Be observant and see what is working and what is not. Don’t be afraid to make changes when necessary.

Do one thing daily to promote your site and be patient.

Affiliate payments will begin to build and success will come with hard work and perseverance.

Office With The Comforts Of Home

Secrets of Successful Home-based Businesses and Secrets of Successful Self-Publishing

Although telecommuting and working from home requires a huge measure of self-discipline, the benefits are many. By working from home, most save the daily commute. Instead of wasting valuable, creative time getting ready for work, then making the drive into the office, the day starts from the moment we awake.

With a healthy dose measure of determination, most of us work at homers are productive sooner in the day. We become more valuable to our employers, or if self employed, we can charge lower hourly rates since our expenses are a mere portion of those that commute.

The one downside — telecommuting can be lonely. Some of us are lucky to have co-workers and colleagues who make us feel part of a larger enterprise. The telephone is our link to the outside world, speaking to a live human reminds us that their are others who await and appreciate our productive efforts.

For Work At Home Moms “Don’t Do Laundry At Home”

Moms on the Job: 7 Secrets for Success at Home and Work

Pamela Redmond Satran has made a most provocative post on huffingtonpost.com about time spent by work at home moms. Satran comments on household chores.

When you refuse to interrupt your work to throw in a load of wash, you’re making a statement to yourself that your job — whether it’s to earn money or fulfill your creativity or both — comes before even the most negligible of chores. You allow yourself to focus completely on your work, and to fully inhabit your role as writer or web developer or lawyer. And you force yourself to look to your work for a sense of accomplishment and worth, which may be ultimately more satisfying but a lot harder to come by via writing than laundry-doing. For women, getting the laundry done — or straightening up the house or cooking dinner — can seem intrinsically valuable, while the rewards of working may feel more difficult to pin down.
