Tell Us What Telecommuting And Working From Home Means To You
Just last week, I had lunch with a few of my friends, all involved in some capacity with both telecommuting and working from home. During our chit-chat, we came to the conclusion that none of us would ever go back to the drudgery of a nine-to-five corporate job, what with daily commuting, office politics, and “dressing for success“.
Also, we wondered just how others like us were struggling with the decision to make a change to escape from the “norm” and work from home, telecommute, or a combination of both.
We all know that advanced technology and broadband Internet connections are still slow to change the business world, maybe the cost argument in possibly recessionary times will kick companies into gear such that managers will suggest that employees consider telecommuting.
Has that happened to you?
Have you made the switch?
We would like to know.
