- If you already have a Web site or a blog, use that site to advertise other people’s products. Look for vendors that offer related but non-competing products and see if they have an affiliate program. Stick to familiar products and brands since those products are easier to sell. To promote the products or services, place simple text or graphical ads in appropriate places on your site, include links to purchase products you review or recommend in a blog, discussion forum or mailing list you control, or maybe create a dedicated sales page or Web site to promote a particular product.
- Increase your web traffic using StumbleUpon. Find your friends and others having similar interests to that of yours and add them as friends in SU. Once you have enough mutual friends in StumbleUpon, you can easily increase your site?s traffic by sending the page to all your friends via the SU toolbar and kindly asking them to stumble it.
- Get Paid to Blog. Try ReviewMe or similar programs. You do not need to promote anything or wait for anyone to click on any link for you to earn something. Once your post has been approved, you get paid within a few days.
- Maintain a consistent and recognizable URL. The identity you create for your site lies in the URL. Once you decide on a URL for your blog, do not ever change it. The search engines and articles that reference posts in your blog have links to the older URL, creating confusion and hence lost readership. Choose your URL carefully and stick to it.
- Create Squidoo lenses or pages at Squidoo, It’s fairly easy and should take about 30 minutes to an hour to develop a quality lens. After that, you simply start adding and promoting your affiliate products. Squidoo lenses rank high in Google, bringing more traffic and more chances for people to purchase items using your Squidoo pages.
