PNN.com, the popular family social media site, is looking for 10 authors to write about current topics in one of ten categories. You don’t have to be a professional; you just have to tell your story well. You can tell it with the written word, or in a podcast, with photos, or video.

It doesn’t matter that you’re young or old or in the middle, professional, amateur, or neither - you just have to have an interest in sharing your take on the world.

Our family audience wants a personal take on how the current news might affect their lives.

Requirements. You should:
Love what you do, post regularly, 3 to 5 times a week, do it well, and be willing to carry on a dialogue with your readership,

Post about current topics in your category (we’ll give you links to the current topics),

Sign up for a minimum of three months,

Take a personal approach, making a connection with your audience, and

Be willing to use your real name.

We give you the tools, leave you alone, and take care of the rest, including paying you a base salary (you’ll also share in sponsored ad revenue). Positions are on an independent contract basis, start at a minimum of $300 per month and go up from there. Actual amount depends on your ability, track record, and if you have an existing readership on the topic. Please reply with samples of your work, and relevant websites if appropriate.
