Project Adventure, Inc. is seeking curriculum writers to join a team designing, writing and editing project-based curriculum for the Challenge Charter School (7-12). We are building a team of writers and are looking for a group with various areas of expertise.
Current and former teachers, and those with an interest in integrated curriculum are encouraged to apply. This job is perfect for those who are passionate about experiential education in the classroom. We offer a fun, casual, focused work environment. There is a strong possibility of future projects and full time positions based on performance.
Writers will have the option of working mainly from home. This project will take 10-20 hours through December 2008. Initial training workshops may be required based on experience. This is a part-time, contract position that is compensated on an hourly basis.
Qualifications:

? Availability and flexibility for the duration of the project, including the ability to meet in Beverly, MA once or twice per week
? Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a relevant field
? Professional understanding of curriculum development, and experiential education. (some training is integrated into this position)

? Subject matter knowledge or expertise in one of the following areas: Adventure Education, Math, Science, English, Social Studies
