A representative of Countrywide Home Loans recently contacted me, offering my readers use of one of their free “widgets”. Shown below is an interesting GUI (graphical user interface) that is the front-end to some server-based software that calculates the payment amount to “get ya outa debt”.

Yes, I understand that this is a free plug for Countrywide. Nevertheless, the software presents a unique opportunity for those of you who are interested in doing the math.
