Monitor Your Service Vehicles With This GPS Tracking Device
Many of us work at home folks have found such on-line success that we have expanded into a service business that caters to our local clientele. What with increasing prices for fuel, we need the ability to accurately track the usage of our service fleet, even if it is merely just one vehicle.
One device we have found effective in monitoring the vehicles actions is a GPS tracking unit, a small, pocket sized device that receives signals from the twenty-four Department of Defense GPS satellites orbiting the earth. With an internal computer that accurately determines the GPS location of the device within 2.5 meters and recording this data every second, this handy and inexpensive device uses the Global Positioning System to determine the precise location of a vehicle, person, or other asset to which it is attached. The data can than be downloaded and viewed in Google Earth simply by plugging the unit into the USB port of your computer. This allows you to record the position of the asset at regular intervals.
And, with LandAirSea GPS systems, the units record not only position, but also velocity, duration of time that the object remains stationary, it’s direction or movement, and, of course, it’s location, anywhere around the world.
Any vehicle, or any person can be accurately located and/or tracked using the tracking devices. All LandAirSea GPS units come with software which is fully compatible with Google Earth Software and maps the GPS coordinates of the person or vehicle with extreme accuracy. GPS maps are clearly and conveniently displayed with easily understood data.
