We are looking for a writer who possesses the following:

- a strong command of the English language and a love for using it
- a ridiculous passion for video games and the latest news
- enough time each day (mon – fri) to write 10-20 articles based off of press releases and other news sources
- a clever and edgy side that shows in his or her writing
- very basic HTML/web site knowledge

Basically, we are looking for someone who can deliver the same video game news all the big sites (ign, gamespot, etc) put out except with an edgy twist that makes readers laugh or cringe or otherwise be entertained.

Please send a sample writing that falls under these requirements. Even better, go to a couple of game sites for news and write your own article about it. Funny/witty/edgy, grammatically correct, and informative is the formula we’re going for.

We have extensive experience in creating and growing Web sites, so while the starting pay is low for this position, you will definitely see more money as it grows. Ideally, we would love to pay full-time wages to 2-3 writers by the end of the year.
